Evergreen Parkway Trail

This off-road trail follows both sides of Evergreen Parkway and connects with bike lanes on either side. On the east side, a trail takes the rider through the woods all the way to 2nd Ave NW near Mud Bay Road. Trail reviewer rode when school was not in session - trail may be more popular once the college students return.

Connections:
1. Comes close to the Capital to Capitol Trail on Mud Bay Road and at 17th Ave.
2. Connects with bike lanes on either side, and with Evergreen State College.

Directions: FROM SOUTH: From the Mud Bay Road W, go north on Overhulse Rd. Turn left on 2nd Ave NW and start the trail at the dead end. Follow the trail through the woods until it comes out on the Parkway. Follow the bike lanes which quickly turn into an offroad trail. Ride west on Kaiser Road until it becomes Evergreen Parkway. Bike lanes will feed into the trail. After passing the college gate, the parkway merges into one road again -- at this point you may either follow the bike lanes south to connect with the McLane School Trail off 17th Ave, or turn left, crossing the road to the trailhead leading through the woods.
