Edgewater Street Bike Trail (WV)

If you got excited when you saw this trail on the map, you'll quickly be disappointed. After the first mile from the western trailhead, this is no more than a sidewalk on the northern side of busy highway 22. However, it will get you closer to downtown Salem. The western end is more of a traditional bike trail until it crosses the pedestrian bridge. The only signage for this route is at the western trailhead, where it states merely 'WV'. I'm not sure what that means…

For most of its length, this trail is just a glorified sidewalk!
